LG Commercial TV Resource

To create a Master TV Setup, you will need to know how to access the commercial controller (PTC) Installer Menu and make changes to the default values as required. From your installer remote press menu several times until it stops coming up on screen. Press 9876 and “OK”. If a password pulls up at this point enter 9876 again and you will be taken to picture to the left. Pages 30 to 40 in the TV manual will give detailed descriptions of the Installer Menu items.
From the FTG Mode menu you see to the right, scroll down to “General” option and press “7” 7 times. This will take you into EZ Manager where you can insert USB and download .tlx file to map channels and menu setup options.

From the menu in Pass-Through Mode (to the left), scroll down to “Safety” option and press “7” 7 times. This will take you into EZ Manager where you can insert USB and download .tlx file to map channels and menu setup options.

Once you are in the PTC Installer Menu, go to menu option 117 which is “Factory Default”. Once there press 413 and “OK”. A password will come up in the lower left cover that you need to enter 0413 into and TV will quickly flash message that will begin with word “INSTOP”. Once TV has been off for couple minutes turn TV back on and either go to express option for setup or if you have your USB choose the “EZ Manager” option.
Having this LG Factory Service remote was an absolute lifesaver. The “In Stop” function was able to completely eliminate a Lodgenet settings nightmare from TV’s that were unable to do things for years. LG Support Expert after Expert failed to lead me to anything and the super remote did so easily. Once I learned the password to the In Stop function (and my remote) it was like a miracle happened within this bonkers world of Commercial Displays. The In Stop function I used required password “0000” and just like that, the TV was back to everything it did on day one. This allowed for the process of setting up my HDMI 1 to default after powering down going forward.
